Plugin Alliance

The new Plugin Alliance websiteChecking out the new Plugin Alliance website this morning, and very happy to see some of my favourite Brainworx and SPL plugins are now available in 64-bit versions – and finally without the dreaded iLok!

Those of you into mastering really should check out the Brainworx M/S processing plugins – they are a very different approach to mastering but can achieve some really fine results in Studio One Pro. Highly recommended.

    Hello Motoko

I created a new template yesterday and I had a few errors with it and wanted to delete the template. Is there a way to delete this templete?

  • Yeah, it’s a nice little extension actually developed by the Studio One software team. You can read a bit more about it here: I’m promoting this with all developers I’m in touch with… So hopefully more plugins will end up having this.

  • Wow, I didn’t know that! That’s a great feature, am off to try it right now!

  • For those using Plugin Alliance / Brainworx plugins, you should check what happens when you right-click on one of the controls of the VST3 plugins. The plugins make use of an extension on the VST3 which allows them to have the ‘Edit [Paramater] automation’. Choosing this will automatically create a new automation track and map the selected plugin to it. Now how about that for workflow improvement.
