International Sales Director of Mystery Mark Williams recently made an unusually local expedition into the Louisiana bayous, searching for the storied crystal cog that has been missing from the Antikythera mechanism since its discovery near a Greek island in 1900. Exhaustive research has led Williams to believe that the fabled gear may have wound up at the bottom of Hackberry Bayou, as a plane carrying the precious cargo was last seen flying over the area in 1936—never to be heard from again; feared crashed.

It’s suspected that this arcane mechanism was an early attempt by the Greeks to solve latency issues in their early audio recording endeavors—a work of mysterious genius that PreSonus feels may hold the secret to unlocking divine audio quality in future products.

While this mission was sadly thwarted by a pack of rabid alligators (don’t get between them and their young), it has only re-doubled Agent Williams’ efforts to find the missing crystal cog. But for now, the location of this ancient power remains lost to history…

[International Sales Director of Mystery Mark Williams reports from the inner sanctum of La Gruta! Fortunately for us, his 6G geniusphone prototype was able to acquire adequate reception to get these photos out from deep within a quarter-mile of  Mexican bedrock.]

He reports:

“I had lunch today at La Gruta with one of our Mexican distributors. The restaurant is inside a volcanic cave that was used by the Mayans and also played a part in the Mexican Revolution. It was established in 1906. There’s nothing like an interesting lunch environment after a week of presentations, demos, clinics, foiled assassination attempts, and meetings.”

International Sales Director of Mystery Mark Williams was able to obtain these top-secret photos; surriptitously shot with his astonishing 8-megapixel suit-button camera.

His now-declassified mission primarily focused on softening a problematic Russian Pork embargo during Sao Paulo’s 2012 Global Customs Forum. Word from our contacts at MI6 is that once again, Mark Williams’ intercontinental powers of seduction have proved limitless, as PreSonus forum users in Brazil have suddenly had very little to complain about.

His Mission: Complete, Mark gathered surveillance of the ExpoMusic show, where suspicions were confirmed: PreSonus partners at QUANTA Brasil are doing an exceptional job.

See below evidence.
