What’s your favorite thing about your job? Why did you choose to work here?
I get to travel the world working with a bunch of great people. I used to be a PreSonus and WorxAudio dealer. When PreSonus purchased WorxAudio I was offered a job to help create a commercial division which has been a blast!
What was the first 8 track, cassette, CD or digital download you purchased?
8 Track was Aldo Nova (Aldo Nova), cassette was Alice Cooper’s “Poison” single. CD: Skid Row.
Who’s your go-to band or artist when you can’t decide on something to listen to?
Anything from Crosby, Stills and Nash to My Chemical Romance… depends on my mood.
The one with no lyrics… So anything Yo-Yo Ma.
What’s your favorite piece of PreSonus gear and what do you love about it?
It’s a tie between the Studio 192 & StudioLive Series III Mixers. I love the Studio 192 because it allows me to take multiple high resolution transfer function measurements at the same time. The StudioLive Series III is a great sounding mixer that incorporates some forward thinking technology. I spend most of my time with the StudioLive Mixers so I’ll go with that as my favorite.
What other PreSonus products do you have?
AudioBox iTwo, 328AI speakers, AIR15s subs, HP4 headphones, Studio One and Notion.
Tell us about a successful event you worked with PreSonus products.
Right now I working on putting training modules together for our commercial dealers. Our main focus with the commercial division is to help our dealers be the best they can be.
Got any tips for working with the mixer?
My favorite feature on StudioLive Mixers… press and hold the TAP button to zero out parameters.
Anything else you want to share?
Dominic “Tic Toc” Bazile has been with us for the better part of a decade, most of that time in the role of Quality Assurance Tester. That’s a fancy way of saying that not much gets past him; Dom finds bugs so you don’t have to. A man with the eyes of an eagle.
How long have you worked for PreSonus?
6 years!
Testing new products and having the ability to make them better for our customers! It’s not every day you realize a music manufacturer as big as Presonus is headquartered in your town. I wanted to be a part of the bigger picture in helping other’s fulfill their music ambitions.
Chicken Fried by Zac Brown Band, lol!
What do you love about the FaderPort 8?
I love the FaderPort 8 because of what it is, but also because of it’s unique integration with Studio One.
I love my PreSonus R80 monitors, Studio 192, and of course Studio One 3! I use them along with the FaderPort 8 on a daily basis in my studio.
Why did you choose this as your favorite?
The FaderPort 8 is THE piece of gear that keeps my whole workflow moving forward. Without it, I’m stuck mousing around which slows up the process of recording.

I use StudioLive mixer in church and it has never failed me! I mix all the sound live while recording every input into Capture for release after the church service. It’s a great workflow.
Working on some Neo Soul/Jazz projects at the moment that I’m excited about.
Got any tips for working with the mixer?
Gain stage properly and everything else will fall into place.

If you don’t recognize this guy as a PreSonus face, it’s because we pay him to be on the other side of the camera. Andy Bond is PreSonus’ Maker of Cool Videos, and has been voted “Mr. Positivity” in our Annual Superlatives for five years running.
Husband, dad, business owner, full time employee–how does one do it all?
With PreSonus’ Eris E5 Studio Monitors. Duh.
What’s your official job title?
I’m the Senior Video Producer. So I lead the planning, filming, and editing of all of our videos (new products, training, marketing, sales, webcasts, events, and artist testimonials).
What’s your favorite thing about your job?
It’s very diverse. I get to be in a little bit of everything. Sometimes we travel and meet artists like MuteMath, Nothing More, Def Leppard, and others who love PreSonus products. Other times we are producing the launch videos for new products or traveling to NAMM. I’ve even filmed a short documentary about the Studio One team in Germany—this job is pretty fun at times.
What was the first 8 track, cassette, CD, digital download you purchased?
The first CD I remember buying was probably Pinkerton by Weezer. I was 8 or 9 years old I think.
Who’s your go to band or artist when you can’t decide on something to listen to?
My wife and I are huge Thrice and Dustin Kensrue fans and that’s probably our go-to.
My favorite video is the launch video for the CS18AI. We rented a full warehouse and got to be really creative. Outside of that, the Studio One 3 launch went really great. We got to fly to Germany to interview the developers, and then Los Angeles to interview several prominent producers using Studio One 3, and launched it all in one big day during PreSonus LIVE.
What are you currently working on? What’s next for you?
I’m currently planning several shoots to show off individual features of our new StudioLive Series III Mixers and a new video all about Studio One 3 Mix Engine capabilities. Of course, we are always making new products too, but I can’t tell you about those yet.
Got any tips?
Subscribe to our YouTube channel and keep up with us and our videos on social media. We are consistently producing new content and it’s a great way to sharpen your skills, learn about new gear, and hear from artists.
Anything else you want to share?
I’ve heard some people say I look like the Janitor. I’m not sure what they are talking about though…
Ryan Landry is PreSonus’ Inside Sales Lead and Magisterial Overseer of Cookie Distribution. When not at the office, Ryan lives the life of a multi-talented drummer/poet; a renaissance man who lives on the razor’s edge between heartbeats and spreadsheets.
Ryan’s been with us for a few years now and we’re not quite sure what we would do without cookies.
My co-workers. I work with some truly incredible people.
But who’s your favorite?
Everyone is my favorite equally. (Hope my boss sees this)
What was the first 8 track, cassette, CD, digital download you purchased?
Unfortunately, I never saw the light of day for 8 tracks or cassettes. The first CD that I can remember buying is “Broken Boy Soldies” by The Raconteurs.
Who’s your go to band or artist when you can’t decide on something to listen to?
This Will Destroy You. Specifically, their self-titled album.
What do you love about the Studio 192?
The quality of sound, the remote preamps, and the mixer in UC Surface. Being a DIY bedroom drummer, it’s the perfect tool for me to get high-fidelity recordings at home. I keep my drums set up in one room and my computer is located in another room. From my iPad, I can set my preamp levels, create a monitor mix, and control Studio One 3 from the Studio One Remote App all without ever having to leave my drums. It’s the dream piece of gear for a lazy drummer like me.
What other products do you have?
A pair of Eris E8’s, a pair of Eris E4.5’s, a pair of Ceres 4.5’s, a Monitor Station, an AudioBox iTwo, an HP2, an HP4, and Studio One 3.
Tell us about the coolest thing you’ve done with PreSonus.
Meeting Mutemath! I’ve been a big fan of them for a couple of years now and I was excited to learn when they started using our mixers on their Vitals tour. They had an off day on tour and came by the office to pick up some more gear; I got a chance to meet the guys and hang out for a bit.
What are you currently working on? What’s next for you?
Outside of work? My band, Spyglass, is working on finishing our debut album that’s going to be released this summer.
Got any tips for working with the interface?
Use it with Studio One 3 for the best experience, hands down. The Z-Mix feature will allow you to do zero-latency monitoring within Studio One 3.
