Get The MP3 Converter Add-on for Studio One Artist!

Hey Studio One Artist users: tired of bringing your WAV exports into conversion software to render them to MP3? Well, you don’t have to worry about THAT anymore, because we’ve released the MP3 Converter Add-On for Studio One Artist! It’s cheap at $9.99 USD, and real easy to install.

To get it, click the big, pretty, charmingly retro image below, or just click here.

  • Glad to help. Have fun!

  • TheAfroRican

Oh okay cool. I am going to use the interface for recording my tracks from my Ensoniq ASR-10 keyboard. Thanks for the information.

  • It depends on the nature of your project. If you’re just recording something simple like acoustic guitar and vocals, then a mixdown from Capture could be satisfactory, but we recommend using Studio One on your main computer for any serious audio editing and production. Capture is really just a quick and simple recording application. 🙂

Whatever you make in Studio Once can be copied back to the iPad the same way you would copy any other file to your iPad. Hope that helps!

  • TheAfroRican

I meant the finished track. Once I’m finished recording the track, can I save it on the ipad?

  • I’m not sure what you mean by “Download the track.” You can record directly to your iPad using the AudioBox iTwo and the included Capture software, and then wirelessly send your recordings to your desktop computer over WIFI to edit in Studio One Artist.

  • TheAfroRican

Can you also download the track on the ipad? I’m just trying to get some information before I purchase the interface

  • If you’re talking about Studio One Artist, which comes with the AudioBox iTwo, the answer is yes. 🙂

  • TheAfroRican

Would this work for the audiobox itwo?

  • CORDELE TAYLOR II

I purchased the mp3 converter but it still won’t let me Import a song. Idk what to do.

  • Not with this add-on, but there are websites out there that can convert YouTube audio to .mp3s that you can then download. Just search for “YouTube to mp3 converter.”

  • CORDELE TAYLOR II

will videos from YouTube be able too be converted also ?

  • Brian

It’s pretty lame you have to pay extra for an MP3 converter and that it’s not just included in the main product.

  • Yes, and export, too. 🙂

  • Andrew Brown

So, this will allow me to import any mp3 file, right?

  • I am exceptionally appreciated for this web journal. Its an enlightening theme. It help me all that much to take care of a few issues. Its chance are so phenomenal and working style so rapid. http://laguband.com/mp3/time-of-our-lives-pitbull-and-ne-yo.html

  • I’m not certain what’s turned out badly but rather we can offer assistance! Kindly contact our technical support group here. http://mp3skull.lol

  • Export Mixdown will mix all of your tracks that are routed to the Main fader and create a mixdown of all of them to an .MP3 or .WAV, which sounds like what you’re trying to do. Export Stems will export each track as its own .WAV file.

  • Bigz

Ok so i checked all that everything is ok. We are recording through your presonus 24.4.2 board. I noticed that when you export the mixdown you can only export one channel. Should i be clicking on export stems instead of export mixdown? Or is there a way to convert all the channels we recorded to a track then export that as mixdown

  • Yep!

  • Hmm. Check your song’s start and end points and make sure you’re exporting within this range. Also make sure that you don’t have any tracks muted when you export.

  • Bigz

I downloaded this when i export the mixdown in mp3 i cant hear anything when i try to play the mixdown i just exported in mp3 dont know whats going on

  • No, Capture is intended for Capturing live performances to be mixed down and exported from Studio One (or another DAW of your choice) at a later time. We’re aiming to keep it as simple as possible. 🙂

  • Do you have a similar MP3 converter for capture?

  • Raymond Farris

Thanks. I bought it and installed, but haven’t used it yet. Thanks for the quick response!

  • Yes, it’s compatible with Studio One 3 Artist. You can get it here: https://shop.presonus.com/products/studio-one-prods/studio-one-add-ons/MP3-Converter-for-Studio-One-Artist

  • Raymond Farris

Does this work on Studio One 3? Kinda upset that I bought a program that doesn’t do something so necessary.

  • Gotcha. I’m sorry but that’s all the support I can offer over blog comments, we will need to know more information about your system to help. Please check in with our tech support team here: http://support.presonus.com/tickets/new

  • Dru

Already done that and I have the latest version

  • OK. I would double-check that you’re really running the latest version of Studio One Artist 2. From the Start Page click “Check for Updates.”

You will need to be running Studio One Artist 2.6.2 or later.

If that doesn’t help, contact our tech support team for help with the installation at the following link. Sorry this is a pain!

  • Dru

Sorry I mean it is studio one artist (not.producer) . iI bought the MP3 converter as that version doesn’t have it. But when I tried installing it said it is not compatible

  • Studio One Artist and Studio One Producer are two separate, distinct editions—your copy of Studio One cannot be both at the same time. If you have Studio One Producer, you can export an .MP3 already, and don’t need the MP3 converter.

In Studio One Producer, the option to export an MP3 will be found in the Song >> Export menu under “Format,”

If you bought the MP3 Converter AND you have Studio One Producer, that’s a redundant purchase since the feature is already in Studio One Producer. Don’t worry about that, we will be happy to refund the cost of the MP3 Converter if that’s what happened. Just fill out a support ticket and include your purchase ID# in the Subject line. You can submit a support ticket at the following link.

It is studio one artist I am using. I am running the producer version

  • The MP3 Converter is only for Studio One Artist. Are you running Producer or Professional editions?

  • Dru

This does not work . It says MP3 converter is not compatible with studio one. I have latest update already of Studio one. What’s going on ?

  • Make sure you are running the most recent version of Studio One Artist! Click “Check for updates” from the start page.

  • Tarick

Its saying MP3 converter is not compatible with studio one. What do I need to get for it to work?

  • Hmm, I’m not sure what’s gone wrong but we can help! Please contact our tech support team here: http://support.presonus.com/tickets/new

  • Cutz

  • JULIUS MWANZIA
