Presenting in the Hartley/Vey Studio Theatre on Friday, Oct. 25 at 3:30 p.m.
Deep Inside Studio One: Advanced Production

Finally! We get to see how a crazy person works, as we take a peek inside the unpredictable mind of steadyb. While he is not known for sharing his toys, steadyb will share his recording, mixing and mastering secrets used in the production of the album Proud to be American. Learn the ways of the force with steadyb while he breaks down the Studio One approach for the disorganized and scatter-brained, and how Studio One allows the freedom to be spontaneous to achieve amazing results. As steadyb says: “In the end, it is only the results that matter, not what you had to do to get there.”

A 20-year veteran of the music industry, steadyb has worked for industry leaders like Apple, Fostex, and Alesis before joining PreSonus as a Technology Evangelist. He’s toured the world as a professional keyboardist, and has credits as an audio mixer and sound editor for shows on the History Channel and HGTV.

When prompted for some highlights of PreSonuSpheres past, steadyb notes the following: “I like the food.”

Great Eris Review from Bonedo.De

This 4.5/5 star-review on the new Eris monitors comes to us from the informed minds at Bonedo.De. It’s in German, but savvy Google Chrome users can employ the auto-translate feature, or users of any browser can download an English translation here.

“The PreSonus Eris E5 and E8 are quality made, well equipped and good-natured active
speakers for near field. The fairly linear tuning of the boxes allows an amazingly balanced
and transparent sound reproduction, and for a very attractive price. Since the Eris E5 costs
almost half, and was able to convince most sonically, it gets awarded 5 stars.”
