Freebie Friday- NUKLEAR SOLO

April 13,2012

Today is a really special Freebie Friday, as Hamburg Audio has created a version of their awesome NUKLEAR synth just for Studio One users called NUKLEAR SOLO. The latest version of NUKLEAR has automatic host detection, and needs no further registration, nor activation. If you’re running Studio One (Producer or Professional), just install and have fun!

Click here to visit Hamburg Audio and download NUKLEAR.

They’ve also just released the new free Protonica Soundset for NUKLEAR, adding 32 handcrafted presets by Piet Kaempfer from the progressive trance artists Protonica.

And to cap it all off, Studio One users can upgrade to the polyphonic version of NUKLEAR for only €89! For this, just send an email to solo@hamburg-audio.com, including a Studio One Song file with one instance of NUKLEAR before or after purchasing.

What a week for Studio One- 2.0.5 release and the introduction of Studio One Free, and now this. Thanks, Hamburg Audio, for making our Friday even better!

You actually make it appear so easy together with your presentation but I find this matter to be actually something that I believe I might never understand. It kind of feels too complex and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I’ll attempt to get the hang of it!

An attention-grabbing dialogue is value comment. I think that it’s best to write extra on this matter, it won’t
be a taboo topic however usually individuals are not enough to speak
on such topics. To the next. Cheers

Today, I went to the beach with my children.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She
put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her
ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to
    tell someone!

Can´t get the NUKLEAR to work properly, only in Demo-Mode??

    • ThomasR

Try the VST version. Nuklear AU doesn’t switch to Solo mode.

Whats really fascinating is to be able to define a control for very small periods of time. Further, the references in the PDF to the source of Pulse Wave Synthesis describes the reasons and functions of how the Nuklear Synthesis application came about, and the read of that PDF really defines the generation of sound in a fashion that reveals the scientific background of Pulsar Wave Synthesis functions. ,For the technician in audio or electronics, it makes clearer how formants are created and controlled. Basically the researcher defines the basis of Pulsar Wave Synthesis as related to the discovery of Pulsars, which makes good information about how the discovery was used to create an Audio synthesizer. Well worth the read.

Another good one from the Presonus guys. Thanx for this!!!

@Brenda – cheesed me off too, but I realised after looking a bit more closely is that the limitation of S1Artist & Free version is that they don’t give support for third party plug ins. So it’s not Nuklear’s fault, just pain of using low end versions. Looks like I’m going to have to upgrade to S1Producer to use all my plugs. Still glad to be free from L*gic!

    • Johnny

      sorry – Brendan!

  • dwight domingue

Works only in demo mode. Or am I doing something wrong ???

    • ThomasR

      please try the VST version.

  • Kieran

It does Brendon. Clearly states for Producer or Professional.

  • Brendan

but not for Studio One Artist or Free? i think that should have been mentioned in this post!
